I attempted to link several specific artists using a couple ordinary materials that were in my immediate surroundings, due to the fact that I find a strand of the everyday in each of these artists. They, in one way or another, embrace the ordinary; thinking about the relation/space between us and stuff, often giving/depicting slices of life through found objects, everyday materials, natural resources or even consumer goods while at times, utilizing repetition or finding ways to celebrate sameness and, well, the everyday.
